Holistic Moms Network-Saratoga Chapter

At the Holistic Moms Network, our mission is to generate national awareness, education, and support for holistic parenting and green living by providing nurturing, open-minded, and respectful local community networks that encourage families to share these ideals and learn from each other.

We represent and advocate on behalf of parents nationwide who are working to build a healthier and more sustainable future. By joining our voices, we create a powerful force for change.

We also assist parents in building local chapters to develop a community network where they can find support for natural health and parenting choices. Our communities bring parents together in a respectful and supportive environment; honor and cultivate diverse lifestyles and parenting choices; enable parents to freely share their knowledge and experiences; and encourage awareness about a wide range of holistic parenting and green living options.

We strive to educate parents about natural options and to inform people from all walks of life about holistic parenting and green living.

Moms Club of Troy Support Group

Our chapter meets during the day because that’s when mothers-at-home need the support and we encourage mothers to bring their children with them to our activities.

The MOMS Club is an International nonprofit organization for at-home mothers everywhere! The MOMS club offers a support group for Moms in the Capital District. We help you feel good about your decision to stay home with your children and give you the opportunity to share activities with other at-home mothers and their children. Local MOMS Club chapters have meetings with interesting speakers and discussions, park play days, playgroups for preschool children, activity groups like arts and crafts, walking groups, book clubs, and a monthly MOMS Night Out (activity groups change according to members’ interests). We also perform service projects to help needy children in our community.

Capital District Mothers of Twins Club Support Group

“The Capital District Mothers of Twins Club (CDMOTC) was formed in 1982 in order to supply emotional support for parents of multiples and allow for the exchange of ideas related to the raising of multiple birth children. We are a not-for-profit group.

As a support group we meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month to share ideas on such subjects as sleeping issues, potty training, childcare, money saving tips, starting school, returning to the work force and more. The CDMOTC is a place for parents to meet and relax, make friends and find new ideas about raising multiple children.

In addition to support meetings we offer events (both member-only (e.g. Members’ Night Out) and family-oriented (e.g. annual picnic, visits to museums and other kid-friendly places, and holiday parties)) and periodically organize play-dates at various locations.”
